Summary:
The coupler can provide a data connection between two independent EIB buses, and also act as an electrical isolation between the buses, so that a bus can be operated locally.
Couplers can be used as branch couplers, trunk couplers or line repeaters, or in an existing EIB network or a new KNX EIB network. The coupler provides a filter table, and all the group messages that exist in the filter table will be transmitted by route, otherwise they will be blocked, thereby reducing bus load. The filter table is automatically generated by ETS software tools according to the debugging system.
