GLS355/GLS357 Intelligent controllable transwitch


Introduction:


GLS355/GLS357 Intelligent controllable transwitch is a high-power dynamic and fast compensation fling-cut switch specially designed for the power capacitor of 0.69kV and lower voltage level, with fast follow speed, and the response time is 10-20 milliseconds. It is mainly suitable for impact load, and the power load which requires fast switching capacitors, for example: electric welding machine, steel rolling, port crane, lift, inverter frequency furnace and other occasions of rapid load change.


1.GLS355: dual-phase design, suitable for three-phase simultaneous compensation;


2. GLS357: three-phase design, suitable for split-phase compensation.



Characteristics:


1. Adopt the precharge mode, and the next switch can be complete without waiting for the capacitor completing discharges, which truly realizes high-speed switching lower than 20ms;


2. Put into when the voltage difference is zero, remove when the current is zero, and ensure there is no inrush current;


3. Reasonable structural design, simple wiring and convenient installation and debugging;


4. An effective protective circuit is adopted to improve the anti-harmonic capability of the regulator;


5. With the functions of under voltage, over temperature and lack of phase protection;


6. Adopt frequency controlled fan controlled by temperature, which can reliably guarantee the controllable silicon to work within the prescribed temperature range and greatly prolongs the   service life of the device;


7.Make full use of integrated circuits, and minimize the discrete components to make the switching volume as reasonable as possible and reduce its size so that reduce the cost of the whole  cabinet;


8. Anti-interference circuit design improves anti-interference capability of the switch, and effectively prevents the fault of silicon control breakdown caused by incorrect triggering, and   pass the EMC examination with level 4 standard;


9.It can monitor the running temperature of the switch and upload the temperature status by communication;


10.Controlled by DC12V DI or by means of communication, and maximum of 32 groups of capacitors can be controlled by means of communication.
