Introduction:

GLP587 Differential protection devices are suitable for protection, control and monitoring of two-winding and three-winding transformers with voltage level of 110kV and below, reactors, and synchronous and large asynchronous motors. GLP587 series devices can be divided into three kinds of configuration options according to the protection application: 

1. GLP587-T: two-volume transformer differential protection (with backup) 

2. GLP587-D: three-volume transformer differential protection

3. GLP587-M: large motor differential protection (with backup) 

Characteristics: 

1. Integration of protection, measurement, control, status monitoring, and comprehensive application; 

2. Professional EMC common-ground design and real-time monitoring of the input power, analog and digital power of the device with configuration of the perfect self-testing program. The     device does not lose power if there is 100ms interruption interval of the power supply; 

3. Overall application of industrial-grade components. Sufficient electrical-isolation has been adopted for all connections with the external to ensure the safety and reliability of the     installation;

4. Chinese and English display interface can be inter-switchable;

5. Support the PLC logic programmable function in line with the IEC-61131-3 graphics programmable standard;

6. Module design: break the traditional fixed protection logic function mode and modularize the input quantity required for the protecting the logic; 

7. Platform design: unified platforms for hardware and software to simplify the production and user applications;

8. Flexibility design: the traditional mode that protective equipment are classified according to the protection objects has been broken and users can edit the required protection function   by modular resources to adapt to different protection objects;

9. Dedicated Chinese and English debugging software (GLPset) and graphical programming interfaces are easy and straightforward for users to master and apply. Different protection logic and   set values can be uploaded or downloaded by the software.
